What is The Matthew Event ?
The Matthew Event has taken over two years to put together. Matthew Oghene felt it was time to expand and work with other like-minded models. The Matthew Event promises artists an experience worth every penny. These live performances and seminars are open to anyone willing to exprience a new way of approaching art .
Matthew Oghene will be working with fellow friend Lorraine Smith founder of Silversmith Dance Theatre . Lidia and Paulene are in sharp contrast are worthy models to work alongside Matthew. Both Matthew and the other artist models will do a variety of poses to please everyone at the event. In 2012 The Matthew Event will be rebranding the events it's offers to the general public. This will include seminars on discussions including the human form and speech. The Naked Butler Service began operating in January 2012. There are more events that are in pre-production.

Matthew is considered to be one of the greatest artist model of his generation by artists and models alike. He is a living legend. As a child Matthew had an interest and keen eye on drawing. This would lead to him taking Art foundation and HND graphic design at Middlesex University in 2002. Matthew's first professional job came in 2004 at Beaconsfield Contemporary Art Gallery in an art installation called 'Engineer' and the rest, my friend, is history. Matthew recently modelled for an Artangel production on channel 4 called Life Class/Today's Nude posing for Maggi Hambling in 2009. Matthew hopes to keep working as an artist model and says his best work is yet to come. Matthew is currently filming a BBC3 documentery on going on The McGuire Programme and how overcoming his stammer can benefit him for his future. Matthew is currently undertaking acting lessons.
Who is PaulenePaulene is considered by Matthew to be the most vibrant artist model working today. She is available for portrait and life drawing work across London, She can work for private artist's and art colleges sitting,painting or photography to sculpture. She can also be booked for projects, the locations at the moment are london but can travel as well. She is flexible with any look, and can work with the artist with, what they are looking for. She has two tattoes, which are visible.
Lidia is considered by Matthew to be one of the most in demand female performers working today in London and abroad. She is also a film maker and is always thinking of new ways to express herself in her work. She is kind and is always willing to help others. She is constantly booked in advanced and is always busy. She works at art schools across London and is very good at holding long sustained poses.

Formed by Matthew and Lidia. They are professional artist performers/artist models. This new Rodin event will incorporate sexual and erotic situations, which is a complete contrast from their Rodin: Life class event. The poses for this event will be on ground level bringing their bodies closer together and creating poses never before seen in ordinary Life drawing classes. Please bring a sketchbook. This Life class is open to all who like drawing two models that interact. Pencils and charcoal will be provided. Matthew and Lidia have worked at art schools and galleries across London and overseas for several years. Please feel free to come and watch, make notes or draw. Photographers are welcome to take photos if both Matthew and Lidia agree.

Cancellations and refund policy
An event will be cancelled at any time, if not enough people make a booking. If you make a deposit of £20 and you don't turn up, you can't take it to the next event.
